Staff - we were delighted to welcome Jessie back to the team here. She will be teaching on a Saturday and on some other days and we are sure everyone will be pleased to see her back and part of the team again.
Sadly we said goodbye to Gabby who is off furthering her career to work on a game reserve abroad.
Verity went into hospital to have a successful left hip replacement and after an initial two weeks resting and keeping the admin up to date she was very happy to get back out onto the yard and resume coaching. She is now doing all the physio to regain strength and get back to riding again hopefully in August.
Apprenticeships - we are very pleased to be offering apprenticeship opportunities here at Witham Villa again. We have a vacancy for a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship either through KEITS or British Dressage.

British Dressage - India and Eddie competed at Hartpury Premier League in the Inter 2 continuing to build up strength and experience at this level.
India competed Nalla (Vanilla P) in the Medium Gold Regional Championships at Bury Farm, finishing in 4th place on 70%. Fingers crossed that they might get a wild card through to the National Championships.
India took Biscotti to the Young Horse 4 year old Semi-Finals at Northallerton which was all good experience for the horse and helps further her education. This lovey horse will now be put up for sale to find her forever home. If you are looking for a beautiful, well bred dressage horse then get in touch with India to see if she could be the horse of your dreams!
Unaffiliated Dressage - Kimmy competed in her first dressage test after being brought back into work following having two foals and went beautifully for a score of 76% in Prelim 3. This lovely horse could be available on a training livery package for an experienced competition rider to then take back up the levels. If anyone is interested please contact India or Verity in the first instance.
Livery - we welcomed a new horse, stable name Poppy to the yard as a dressage competition training livery. Her owner, Jess competes in RDA, Virtus and Para competitions. Poppy had been based over in the Netherlands, so it will be great for Jess to be able to ride her more regularly now and we look forward to cheering them on in competitions.
Jess will be taking Poppy to the BD para championships at Hartpury the first weekend in August for her to gain experience now she is in the UK. Jess will also compete on Verity Saul’s Gaya at the championships. We wish them good luck.
