Proprietor - BHS II (Reg’d) DR
Group 3 dressage rider. Regional Dressage Trainer. List 6 Dressage Judge. Qualified First Aid at Work. Verity has been the Owner of Witham Villa since 8 October 1992. Currently competing up to Prix St George level Affiliated dressage, she has also competed in Affiliated Show Jumping to Newcomers, and Horse Trials at Pre-Novice level.

02. Jess Thomas
Office Manager - BHSAI, NVQ Assessor/verifier.
Jess works part time and is in charge of administration

03. Alison West
Instructor - BHS Stage II, PTT, NVQ Level 3
Alison joined us in 2001. She now works part time in the evenings and at weekends following the birth of her daughter. Alison is also in charge of the Witham Villa Pony Club.

03. Jenny Ward
Yard Manager - BHS AI & BSC honours in Equine management
Jenny joined the team in November 2007 having completed her degree course. She is in overall charge of the yard and is heavily involved in the training of the NVQ and BHS qualifications. She is looking forward to taking her stage 4 and Intermediate qualifications

04. Serina Gonchakov
yard supervisor - NVQ II, NVQ level III
Serina joined Witham Villa having worked in both England and the USA in large studs. She supervises the running of the yard and is currently concerntrating on her riding.

07. Julie Tomlinson
Instructor - ABRS TC
Julie has been a member of the team since 1997 and has gained her qualifications and huge experience during her time here. In 2005 she won an ABRS grant award for instruction.
She is currently competing in side saddle competitions

08. Sarah Frisbee
Instructor - NVQ 2
Sarah joined the team as a trainee, she has worked and studied her way up and now is an ABRS Initial Teacher, Level II Horsecare, First Aid Certificated, Riding and Road Safety and achieved her child protection award. Sarah has been given more responsibility now and is supervisor on a Saturday and assists to run the yard during the week. she is currently studing for her NVQ level III

09. Kath Torode
Administration Officer - NVQ 1 in horse care
Kath works part time during the week and heads our front desk dealing with enquiries, lesson bookings and customer liasion.
Kath owns her own horse "Don't Take The Mickey" which she competes at prelim dressage.

10. Sally Willcox
Show secretary -
Sally works part time organising & running the British dressage shows.
Sally owns her own horse "Raffael" who Aspire dressage imported from Holland.
Sally competes Raffael at Elementary level having upgraded from Novice after qualifying for the winter 2006 Regional Finals. She also competed in the Petplan Area Festival in September at Sheepgate achieving silver level.

11.Teresa Shepperd
Dressage Groom -
Teresa has joined the team at Witham Villa after working in Europe for many years in various competition yards.
Teresa is a very experienced groom who has a great raport with the horses.

12. Chris Law
Cafe proprietor - City and Guilds 7061/2, Ad food/hygiene cert
Chris has taken over the managing of the cafe, he prides himself on the provision of quality hot and cold food, with everything being homemade to order.
Whist you are here come and treat yourself.
He provides outside catering including weddings, parties, BAR-B-Q's etc

13. Helen Lloyd Jones
Trainee instructor -
Helen has joined the team from college to start her career in horses. She is training towards her NVQ level 2

14. Georgina Palfreyman
Trainee Instructor -
Georgie has joined the team to consolidate her knowledge of horses and gain her initial qualifications, presently she is studying for NVQ level 2

Trainee Instructor -
Abi has joined the team straight from school, and is on an apprenticeship scheme, she is currently working on NVQ level 2

16. Kerry Thompson
Groom - NVQ 2
Kerry joined the team at Witham Villa in April 2007, having previously worked at Redgate Animal Sanctuary and Markfield Equestrian Centre.

17. Laura Cochrane
trainee instructor and groom -
Laura has ridden at Witham Villa for many years before she decided to take up a training position with us. She will be training for the NVQ level 2 and her ABRS teaching exam.
