Ted is a shetland cross and joined the team at Witham Villa in July 2010. He came from a private home where he had been to shows, done jumping, and generally been a lovely family pony. He is now taking part in lessons and all pony club activities here.

A chestnut mare. Blaze takes part in all the riding school activities including pony club. Blaze took 1st and 2nd place with 2 different riders at the regional final of the National Riding Schools competition 2005. She went on to be placed in the National Final

This is an Irish mare, who was imported as a showjumper. Since coming to Witham Villa she has been trained in dressage too. A lovely pony who is competing in dressage and taking part in all pony club events. She went to the national final of the Riding Schools competition 2009, and also to the Pony Club Centre national championships where she had top 10 placings.

A great pony, joining the Witham Villa team in 2011. Autumn has previously been in Pony Club homes and has been a great confidence giver for her young riders. She has taken part in dressage, show jumping, cross country and showing activities and is sure to become a favourite with the children here.

Harry

A gelding. Harry is owned by the Riding For The Disabled Association, so in addition to his other riding school work he is also used for the various Disabled groups that attend Witham Villa, for whom he is a star.
He works very well on the flat and competes in unaffiliated dressage.

Suski

A bay mare. A great all round pony who is fun to ride. She takes part in all pony club activities. In 2008 she competed in the Pony Club Centre National Finals in Derbyshire. In 2010 she went to the Pony Club championships again, with her riders finishing 9th and 8th in their respective sections, and the team finishing in 6th place.

Candy is a part-bred Welsh pony and was born on 7th July 1999. She has been a childrens pony club pony taking part in all activities and in her last home where she was again sadly outgrown, she took part in Affiliated BSJA showjumping with winnings of 231 actual 138 notional.

A super pony who has taken part in show jumping competitions and pony club activities prior to coming to Witham Villa. He is currently being schooled to further his dressage. He came first in the Prelim competition in May with 68%.

A bay mare. Holly came to Witham Villa in May 2002. Previously she had been a working livery at another riding school.
She has also bred a foal.
She competes in unaffiliated show jumping and dressage and qualified for the regional final of the Your Horse/Uk Riders Dressage in 2005. She represented Witham Villa in the National Final of Puffa and British Horse Society National Riding Schools Competition in 2007. Holly is now a working livery.

Imported from Ireland, Charm has hunted and been used as a pony club pony previously, activities including show jumping, cross country and dressage. He has settled in well at Witham Villa and is becoming a firm favourite.

Holly is on a long term loan to witham Villa, she has previously been registered with British Dressage and competed at Novice and Elementary level. She qualified for the Open Regionals of the Pony Club Dengie Dressage League ridden by Michaela McKinder in 2010.

A TB gelding. He excels in all areas and reached the National final of the Your Horse/UK Riders novice dressage competition in 2003. He also got through to the show jumping final.
He has competed in Affiliated dressage at Prelim and Novice level. In the regional final of 2005 of the Riding Schools competition Snoopy finished 2nd.

Raffy is a dutch warmblood gelding. He has competed in Affiliated Dressage at elementary level with his previous owner. They qualified for the summer 2007 elementary regional final. In 2008 and 2009 they qualified for the elementary Area Festival. Raffael is trained to advanced level dressage. He is also good at jumping, both over coloured and natural fences.

Janco arrived from Holland in the autumn of 2005. He had been competed there in both dressage and show jumping. He was graded Z1 at dressage which is equivalent to the British Dressage advanced medium level.

Part bred British Hannoverian mare, by Dimaggio. Abi is currently competing at Elementary and Medium level Affiliated dressage. She qualified with Verity for the Pet Plan Regional Area Festival at Novice and Elementary 2009, finishing 5th in the Novice and 3rd in the Elementary. She then had a wild card for the Petplan Championships in April 2010, competing in the Open Novice.
Qualified for Open Novice and Elementary Summer Regionals 2010. Qualified for Novice Freestyle. Selected for the Senior Home International in 2010 and 2011 competing at Elementary level representing England.
Qualified for Open Elementary Summer Regionals 2011, and for Elementary and Medium Freestyle Winter Semi-finals. Qualified for Area Festival at Medium level.

Ceasar has had success competing in unaffiliated show jumping and cross country. He has also competed in Affiliated Dressage to elementary level. In 2008 he was one of the horses ridden by our team at the Pony Club Centre National Finals held in Derbyshire. In 2010, he went to the Pony Club Centre Championships again, with his two riders each achieving 5th in their individual sections and overall 6th team place.

Ben was imported from Holland in the autumn of 2005. He competed in Holland in dressage and show jumping.
Ben has competed with one of our Witham Villa Junior Trainees, Thomas, in Affiliated Dressage at elementary level. The combination qualified for the National Final of the Puffa and British Horse Society Riding Schools competition 2007 where we were delighted that they finished in 2nd place in the 17 years and under section.
He was also a finalist in 2009 as well as going to the Pony Club Championships. In 2011 he got to the National finals of the Pony Club Dengie Dressage league at Novice level ridden by Alice Watson. At the National Final of the BHS Equitation Competition he finished in 2nd place with Alice.

Monty was born 22 May 2006. By Sunny Boy (Donnerhall/Sandro Hit)out of Monamie (Monsun - Grade A SJ, Prix St Georges dressage). Monty has been bred to be a sports horse and is progressing well. He has been well handled from birth, and has a lovely temperament. He was broken in in 2009, and continued his training in 2010. It is planned for him to compete in Dressage and Show Jumping this year and go cross country schooling. Monty is now half qualified for the BD summer regionals at Prelim level and is also competing at Novice level. Sure to be a star for the future.
